Dear Colleagues, I want this letter to exemplify my aspirant of being elected to the
Florida State Oriental Medicine Association (FSOMA). The integrity of our
profession as acupuncture physicians and DOCTORS holds distinctiveness in
our society.  We have spent enduring and long hours of education to have the
knowledge to serve the public in their health and wellness paths.  We are a very
persistent group of individuals.  We persevere and advance our knowledge through
research and continuing education to reach a competency and proficiency in areas
of natural medicine and western medicine. Our profession as acupuncture
physician and DOCTORS is significant to the wellbeing of the public.  Our
practice act should convey all of this.   We should broaden our scope of
practice and amplify it.  It is my aspiration to expand membership of our state
association and to involve all members in the growth of our profession. It is my
desire to make FSOMA an association that all Florida Acupuncture Physicians are
proud, appreciative and honored to be members.  It is with great hopefulness
that my colleagues feel the sense of dignity, grandeur and honor in regards to
their profession.
Very Truly Yours, Kym Black-Caporale DOM”
