East West College of Natural Medicine hosts two collaborative externships with HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital and Sarasota Memorial Hospital. HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital is one of the nation's largest healthcare services providers, with locations nationwide and abroad. They are dedicated to providing quality care to those individuals whose lives are entrusted to them, which includes acupuncture services. At HealthSouth, students treat stroke patients; work as part of a pain management team; and participate in rehabilitation of post-injury and post-surgical recovery.
